Established in 2017 by George Spoors. George has been a 4×4 enthusiast for over 20 years. Combined with over 10 years experience in the travel industry, starting his early career as a continental coach driver/tour guide and penultimately tour director for independent coach operators in the North East of England; making a perfect combination for a 4×4 Tour Operator/Guide.
A career change took George into the health and social care sector, although his passion for a “good road trip” continued.
In 2012 George supported a colleague with their 4×4 tour business. Seeing a gap in the market for a more “Relaxed & Scenic” style of tour, George established Trails & Tracks 4×4 Adventures and the rest, as they say, is history.
Here at Trails & Tracks 4×4 Adventures, we are NOT about mud plugging, winch challenge, technical or extreme ‘off roading’, we are the opposite. For this type of activity we would recommend a Pay & Play facility. Our tours are relaxed and scenic, where people can enjoy the great outdoors in the comfort of their own 4×4, in the company of like-minded people. That is not to say we don’t enjoy a splashy puddle or a great river crossing, a track with a twist, a cheeky little section, or a naughty bit. Usually where the camera person gets a good soaking.
Throughout your adventure we offer you support and guidance before, during and after. Our reputation is built on our care and attention to detail. With over 30 years experience in the travel industry and green lane driving, we promote safe, responsible and sustainable use of the green roads we drive; considering the safety and enjoyment of our guests and their 4×4s.
