Description
This is a relaxed day taking in old drover and pack horse roads and ‘B’ roads exploring the Northumberland National Park with splendid views of the Cheviot Hills whilst making our way to south to Morpeth starting near the Scottish Border at Wooler. Depending on the time of year and weather on the run up to our tour, we will ford a mixed variety of rivers and streams.
This tour is in keeping with our relaxed and scenic tours on clear days with rolling views over the Cheviot Hills and some wonderful valleys and fords. This tour usually starts in the Northumberland market town of Wooler and concludes near to Morpeth (or vice versa).
