The Yorkshire Dales National Park encompasses thousands of square miles of moors, valleys, hills and villages along with the never ending stone walls and many miles of green roads, that we can explore.

Saturday night camping is included in this tour allowing us to chill and reflect on the day around the camp files. The camp site has clean modern facilities and is dog friendly.

Saturday’s route starts near Settle in the south west of the dales where we skirt around Pen-y-Ghent with views of the other Yorkshire 3 peaks, heading east towards Kettlewell finishing in the Market village of Masham.

Sunday’s trails and tracks combine an element of relaxed and scenic with the odd twist that makes the drive that bit more interesting as we start in Hawes, making our way through North Yorkshire’s valley’s and dales with maybe a cheeky ice cream stop on the way.

This is an Adventure Tour a blend of green road driving that explores both driver and vehicle abilities and capabilities with a combination of terrain however frequently with a twist that includes something more technical that requires vehicles meet certain standards and levels of equipment, as with driver confidence and ability.

All terrain tyres are a minimum as is a vehicle with high and low ratio gears. We strongly advise that your vehicle has a full size spare wheel; space savers and/or repair kits are not recommended. Underbody and side body protection such as steering and diff guards, tree and rock sliders in addition to a raised air intake (snorkel) are recommended.

This tour is suitable to those who have experienced our range of Relaxed and Scenic and Grand Tours and are seeking a more adventurous experience.
